Who we are
This site is run by Ahmed Albadry (it's The Alien), Cairo, Egypt. Contact for anything about your data: a.albadry13@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist: your name, your email, your WhatsApp number only if you tick the WhatsApp box, the page language, whether you asked to hear about Course 2, any referral code in the page link, and the sign-up time. When you download the course syllabus (PDF): your name, your email, your WhatsApp number only if you tick the box, the page language and the campaign (utm) tags in the page link. We do not collect your location. The site sets no cookies of its own; the optional analytics and ads tools are listed under "Analytics and ads tools" below.
Why
Only to tell you about the A.L.I.E.N. course launch, your founding price and your booking link. WhatsApp messages are sent only if you ticked that box. The legal basis is your consent (EU GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); Egypt Personal Data Protection Law 151/2020). You can withdraw it at any time.
Who processes it
The site and the waitlist are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which stores the data under its data-processing terms. Fonts load from Google Fonts (Google LLC), which receives your IP address when the page opens. Emails to you are sent from Gmail (Google). Automatic welcome emails (with the syllabus PDF) are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which receives your name and email address for that purpose. If you ticked the WhatsApp box and gave a number, the welcome message is sent through WhatsApp Business (Meta Platforms, Inc.), which receives your number and first name; Meta processes it under its own terms and may be located outside your country. Each of these providers acts as a processor for us. When payments open, the payment provider (for example PayPal, InstaPay or your bank) handles your payment under its own privacy policy; we never see your card details.
Analytics and ads tools
To learn which pages and campaigns work, the site can use three tools: Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, page-interaction statistics and session replays) and Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Each one is switched off until the site owner turns it on, and none of them loads if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. When switched on they may set cookies or similar identifiers and receive your IP address, device details, the pages you view and these events: page view, view content, lead (waitlist or syllabus form sent) and checkout click. What you type in the forms (name, email, phone) is never sent to these tools. You can block them with your browser's tracking settings or a content blocker, or ask us to delete data linked to you at a.albadry13@gmail.com.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries delete themselves about 13 months after you sign up, which is about 12 months after the course launch. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time. Buyers' records (name, email, what was bought) are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or to stop all messages. Email a.albadry13@gmail.com and we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data-protection authority (for example the AEPD in Spain or the Personal Data Protection Centre in Egypt).
Age
The course is for adults. Do not sign up if you are under 16.
